This an exciting community enterprise in Clevedon. For 14 years a small second-hand bookshop existed in Copse Road, Clevedon. The new shop is the original shop plus the one next door, enabling us to double the area. We bought 7, books to sell in the newly refurbished shop and started trading on the 31 December Death on Clevedon Beach by Betty Rowlands may be the 10th book in the series; but it can easily be read as a "stand alone".

Rowlands is a "new to me" author but I'm excited to have found this series/5(21). There is a whole corner of the bookshop dedicated to children’s books – complete with comfy Clevedon book bags to sit on.

We have something for every age, from toddlers’ picture books like The Hungry Caterpillar, right through to Young Adult fiction like The Hunger don’t worry. Death on Clevedon Beach by Betty Rowlands may be the 10th book in the series; but it can easily be read as a "stand alone".

Rowlands is a "new to me" author but I'm excited to have found this series/5(23). Clevedon was a settlement in Domesday Book, in the hundred of Portbury and the county of Somerset. It had a recorded population of 19 households in Books On The Hill.
